I don't regret the things I have done

I don't regret the things I have done.  I just regret the things I didn't do when I had the chance.

Dreaming to live d life u l0ve often leads to frustrati0n. LEARNING to l0ve d lifeu live brings peace § genuine HAPPINESS!

Family - where life begins and where love never ends.

When u have a place to go at the end of the day - that is home; When you have people to love - that is family; When you have someone whom you can be yourself and accepts and cares for you in whatever circumstance- that is a friend. When you have all of them - you are Blessed!

Prayer is not a spare tire we pull out when we feel our life has gone flat. Prayer should be the steering wheel that directs our life to the right path.

The impossible dream of man..!

"Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: so shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man" (prov 24:33-34)
The more you sleep, the more opportunities pass you by. That's why there are people of same age with different achievements. God's a loving father, so great is his love towards us that he gave us all 24hours to invest on, yes---- no one would ever say he/she's cheated.
You choose how you live and believe me... You live according to what you want to achieve.  Things don't just happen, success never comes knocking for you to open the door, you work for it and your work and efforts commands it to your direction. Equality/Identity is an impossible dream of man. you know why? Everybody will never be equal because everybody's not doing the same thing. If you spend the whole of your time sleeping, you'll never be equal with one that invested on his/her own time well. Just like a U.B.A staff cannot expect payment from Diamond bank because he/she hasn't worked there, hence can't be paid by the bank. You only get rewards and payments from where you've worked. You're being paid by your work and efforts that's for those working.... While for those sleeping you get paid from your sleep. Yea! Sure

Have you heard of the "sure enough" syndrome?

The sure enough syndrome states..
"If you expect to fail, sure enough you will
If you expect to succeed sure enough you will"
And I add...if you expect to be where you're, sure enough you'll remain there. You'll become on the outside what you believe on the inside.
What's in the inside? Franklin Delano Roosevelt asserted, "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today." What are your expectations? Your expectations determines your actions!

You expect.............................sure enough you will.  Best wishes!

PRICE TAG! What's its price???

Everything in life has a price tag. Go into any store and rarely will you find anything that is free. Purchasing a new car may give us a feeling of elation, comfort & prestige, but it costs.
Expressing our anger can be a relief. It can influence or even control a situation but it too has a  price tag.
The first time we see the effects of anger in scripture, they are very destructive. "But on Cain & his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face downcast. Then the Lord said to Cain "why are you Angry? (Gen 4:5-6)
Cain was angry at his brother because Abel's sacrifice was acceptable & his own was not. Inwardly Cain experienced anger, and the result was MURDER (Gen 4:8). Cain was alienated from his brother, other people and from God. His anger led to murder and extreme loneliness.
Anger motivates a person to hate, wound, damage, annihilate, despise, scorn, loathe, curse, ruin and demolish. All of these are negative effect of anger. However, when properly appropriated, anger instead of demanding and fueling revenge, is a productive energy that creates a new understanding of the world. Anger, however, cannot become healing or transformative if left on its own. It has to be respected and invited into consciousness before it with share its power. Yes...the real anger is not the feeling itself but the ways in which the attempt to contain oy hollow out one's humanity rather than enhance it.
Anger become destructive when its used to diminish instead of serving as passion for change.

How do you deal with anger in a positive way?

You admit it, you accept it and you release it in a healthy way. You use anger's energy to do something constructive. Yes.... Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was founded because of the constructive use of anger directed toward a major problem in the society---drinking and driving. The (MADD) organization has made the society aware of the problem of drunk drivers on our roads & highways & has helped to establish and reinforce laws to prosecute those who victimize others through their negligence.
There are many other examples of anger directed to constructive ends. A family who lost their son in swimming accident at a lake organized a group of parents to convince resort managers and game officials to post warning signs about water hazards to avoid and help prevent other similar tragedies.
A young mother whose two year old son died in the cancer ward of a hospital developed a cooperative program among fifteen churches in her city to set up support groups for parents of children who have died. In addition, each church solicited from merchants and families for the hospital pediatric ward.
Actress Theresa Saldano almost lost her life in a premeditated violent attack. She was stabbed again, and required more than a thousand stitches in her body. The attack left her with feelings of terror, intense pain and rage that gave her energy to fight pain and the sick desires of her assailant. It was also her rage at society I'll treatment of victims that gave her vision to form a victim advocacy group called "victims of victims"

So start today, use your angers energy to do something constructive. Deal with anger in a positive way.....Best wishes!

DETERMINATION

Dreams and goals are accomplished when you've the determination to aim for them, working your hardest to do your best. You cannot reach your full potential unless you've the will to do your very best at all times and work past the many difficulties that will arise along life's path. Being determined gives you the strength to push yourself. Even when you don't want to, knowing you should will give you the extra bump in the right direction.
All great achievers in life made it where they are today due to their determination. You cannot simply wake up in the morning and become the best doctor, popular singer, first class scholar, the best writer...e.t.c but you can wake up and decide to work at it. Everything is a work in progress at some point, and with the strength of determination it becomes an achievement in time.
Priorities are a necessity for a determined person, knowing the rank of importance in everything you're doing. Prioritizing your life helps you keep your goals in check and likewise makes them easier to accomplish.
Most of us look at our to-do list, determine which tasks we can knock out right away, and decide to start that important project "in a little while". Then we go out to visit a friend saying we'll work on it later when you return. Then what happens? You're either too tired or something else comes up that demands your attention and you get nothing accomplished that day. When "later" comes there will always be something else you should be doing instead. If you always forgo a little of something, a month or years  later you'll feel defeat for having accomplished so little. This is the "tyranny of the urgent"
The thing is if you don't have a plan for your time, someone else does. The first one to claim it wins. What matters most? Because we don't know what is really important to us everything seems important. Because everything seems important, we've to do everything. Other people see us as doing everything so they expect us to do everything. Your neighbour wants you to accompany him somewhere, your friend wants you both to go out on a stroll. Your next door neighbour need someone to talk to.........all this and lots more comes up and you gets so busy that you don't have time to think about what's really important to you. When we live our lives in accordance with what matters most to us, we can be productive, satisfied and happy. Get into the habit of scheduling what matters most first.
If you're not able to distinguish the urgent from the important your life can be and will be driven by crisis. You'll be forced to go from one urgent crisis to another with little or no hope of understanding what is most important and less chance to be able to accomplish what is important to you!
"If we would manage time first we must understand that there's no such thing as time management. Then we must learn to distinguish the important from the urgent "Mackenzie"
Time is finite and easily measured and allocated into seconds, minutes, hours, days and years. None if us has enough time according to Einstein..yet each of us has all that there is!
Today we will have 1440 minutes. Tomorrow we'll get a new allocation. There's nothing we can do to get more or less. All we can hope is to manage our absolute, relative finite resources as best as we can to accomplish what we will.
As I earlier said prioritizing your life helps you keep your goals in check and likewise makes them easier to accomplish. I would like to tell you the story of Michael Jordan, he loved playing basketball and was told by his highschool basketball coach that he wasn't good enough and would never make the team.
He didn't take it lightly, and he didn't let it get him down. He worked harder than ever! Every night when he got home from school he'd go outside and take shots on the net, not just a few, or ten or twenty, only after sinking one thousand successful shots would Michael be satisfied enough to go back inside. He did this every single night.
He was committed and determined to becoming the best he possibly could be, and it worked! In 1981, he received a basketball scholarship and in 1984, he entered the NBA draft where he was then selected by the Chicago bulls as their third pick. His determination drove him to achieve ultimate successes in his life, with the help of a good set of priorities to overcome and conquer the rejection he faced when his coach told him he wasn't good enough, he succeeded over all. Today you won't talk of basketball without mentioning Michael Jordan.
A determined person is generally optimistic as well, being able to look past the shadow, to see the light so you can get to where you want to be is a very incredible skill. Someone who lacks determination wouldn't have the mindset to look for the bright side in things and would settle for whatever he or she got. Optimism plays a big role in improving, in allowing one self to know you can do better and actually doing it which is key in being determined.
Determination is something that makes your life successful. Without it you do not have the drive to achieve great things or better yourself. Your life is yours to control and to create whatever your heart desires, and determination will help you in doing so! Note: By being determined, you're opening the door, for a better tomorrow, future investments and overall happiness in your life.

Don't forget failure spurred Michael to strive for the best....

Thanks.....Rossy

FUTURE

What is future to you? Probably a time where all your dreams and wishes surface. Dreams and wishes just don't come out from hiding on "future day". Its built gradually.... It starts from a time called "today".
Your daily routine determines the direction of your future knowingly or unknowingly to you. The preparation for a "Future" should start now "today".

How much Value do you attach to "today"?
Today is the child of yesterday and the parent of tomorrow. There's never a day as future day. Our future is a continuation of our today. The value attached to your today is your future value. There are no two ways about it as the saying " you can't have your cake and eat it"
Fold your hands, and watch your today pass by you gradually without any accomplishment, without any achievement, without discovery, without something to boast of. When that happens you're consciously but subconsciously peeling off the value of your future. Yesterday impregnated today, today is pregnant and note that how you feed her and what you feed her with will determine what she will give birth to in "future". Starve the pregnant today and watch the baby die in the womb. Isn't it terrible? Starving today and watching the future die might sound strange but true. Today is a mirror that reflects our future... Today you've a picture of how the future will appear. Everything we do per time is in the business of creating our future. You're to go through different process to achieve what you dream of, if you've no positive hopes or dreams for the future you'll either stay where you're or begin to slide backwards. You can't give birth to a bright future as desired without conceiving it and working towards achieving it.
Do what you need do when you need to in order to make your desired future come to actualization. Remember you'll bear the consequences so manage your time well, take time to clean and decorate your today to make your future as bright as you dream it to be! We (the world) is only interested in your success so start working on your today.

Thanks....Rossy

THE WORLD

The world is moving at such a fast rate, that we forget to acknowledge the people we see. Take a moment to wish someone a good morning, a smile. You could just make someone's day.
Kindness goes a long way too. No one's asking you to go out of your way to help everyone, but if there's something you can do for someone, do it with a smile. Who knows when you might need them to give you a hand?

HOPE AND FAITH

The old sailor looked at the skies and saw a dark storm coming. As the sea became rough and choppy, the old sailor calmly lowered the heavy chained anchor Link by link, battened down the hatches and went to bed for the night.
He knew the storm would be be rough. But he had faith in the grasp of the anchor. He knew his boat would be there in the morning.
Like that sailor, we have an anchor for our lives that can help us stand fast through the storms of life. Its called hope.
Hope therefore is the object upon which we direct our focus and energies. It is the conviction that no matter the circumstances, God's plans for our lives are for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
WHAT THEN CAN CAUSE OUR HOPE TO GO SOUR?
Often, we hope in the wrong things, so easy to place our hope in this material world. In fact, the things of the world do not provide a firm foundation for our lives. Only when we look to the truly firm foundation for the born living....JESUS CHRIST will we find a hope that anchor our souls.
If you've not been " born again", your hope is simply misplaced.
If you're feeling hopeless right now, consider where your primary hope is grounded. If its not in JESUS, come to him now to find a hope unlike any other. A sure foundation of hope that will carry you through the storms of life.
"This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast"
